School may be back in session, but there is still plenty of summer fun to be had with our FREE Summer Sunday downtown loops! Every Sunday from 1–4 PM, riders can hop on and off around downtown, making it easier to explore, shop, dine, and enjoy Madison.

We’re proud to offer Summer Sundays, along with several other free community routes throughout the season, thanks in large part to the generous sponsors who help keep the trolley rolling.

The Madison Trolley Line is honored to partner with the Ashes to Hope Church Crawl on Friday, July 31st from 5-9PM, by providing free hop-on, hop-off trolley service between participating church sites throughout the evening.

Leave the driving to us as you explore Madison's beautiful downtown churches, each with its own unique history, architecture, and story. Best of all, every Church Crawl ticket purchased helps support the rebuilding efforts of Trinity United Methodist Church, making this an evening that gives back to our community.

Be sure to pick up an event map at the Comfort Station, the Visitors Center, any participating church, or right on board the Madison Trolley Line the day of the crawl.

We hope to see you on board as we help connect the community for this meaningful event!

Ever wonder how we set our ticket prices?

Every guided trolley tour helps cover the cost of driver and guide wages, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and the many behind-the-scenes expenses that keep our trolleys rolling safely. But one thing remains at the heart of every decision we make: keeping the Madison Trolley Line an affordable experience for everyone.

If you've taken trolley tours in other destinations, you've probably noticed they often cost more while offering fewer tour times. We're proud to provide one of the most affordable guided trolley experiences around, with a full schedule of tours and special events throughout the season.

Best of all, your ticket does even more than get you a seat on the trolley. Guided tour revenue helps support our FREE community routes, including Fourth Fridays, Summer Sundays, and Second Sundays, making it possible for even more people to experience Madison.

Fourth Friday is back tomorrow evening, so skip the parking hassles and enjoy Historic Downtown Madison aboard the FREE Fourth Friday hop-on, hop-off trolley from 6:30–9:00 PM.

Ride between convenient downtown stops, hop off to grab dinner, enjoy live music, and explore everything Fourth Friday has to offer, then hop back on when you're ready for your next stop.

The service is free, easy, and the perfect way to experience downtown. Look for the trolley signs! We'll see you on board!

😎 Things are really rolling along this summer with the Madison Trolley Line! During our exciting busy season, we have a few reminders before you hop aboard!

• Tickets for guided tours are now available at the Madison Trolley Line counter inside the Visit Madison Visitors Center at 601 W. First Street, directly across from the Lanier Mansion

• Due to popular demand, we've added Wednesday guided tours throughout July and August, giving you more opportunities each week to experience Madison from the comfort of the trolley

Trolley spotting! 👀 We've been extra busy this month after adding Wednesday guided tours to our weekly schedule, and thanks to the amazing turnout, we're keeping Wednesdays on the calendar through August!

If you can't catch the trolley in person, you can still see it rolling down our award-winning Main Street on the brand-new EarthCam, made possible through the generous sponsorship of General's Quarters!

🚌Just a heads up: our FREE Summer Sunday trolley loop will not be running this Sunday, July 19, as both of our trolleys have been reserved for private rentals.

The Summer Sunday loop will resume on Sunday, July 26, from 1–4 PM. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you back on board next weekend! ☀️
