Sargent's Slabs

Sargent's Slabs After seeing a number of large trees cut up for firewood/discarded on the side of the road, I made th My wife and myself are both in the Air Force.

I'm a reservist and she is active duty. Currently we are stationed at Fort Meade, MD. As such, I transport all my slabs/cookies to a lot out of state until we can secure a location here.

Very trying day today...first off couldnt get a trailer for the weekend, so no log pickups :( Next, stripped out a nut on my mill...a nut that is welded on, so that stinks. Next it took me an hour to start my little chainsaw...but at least I finished the day out with a few cookies. I'll post better pictures tomorrow evening after I have them all. (the painting was from Avalon since she knew I'd had a rough day milling)

Picked up this little guy for Brock Cabot today! Brock makes garden beds for folks and has been needing more red cedar for a while. This log is just over 12 ft long and almost 3 ft wide on the big end and 23 inches on the little end.
