The fuel farm at Machias Valley Municipal Airport is currently inoperable and awaiting repairs.

Pilots should plan accordingly and ensure fueling needs are met prior to arrival.

A little trip to the only FAA approved ice runway Alton Bay Seaplane Base and Ice Runway. Flat calm day with great visibility despite the occasional snow shower. A little long, but enjoy!

Awesome!

We had a couple special visitors at the airport this morning. Keith (on the left) has been here in the area for several days as a guest of the Passamaquoddy Tribe here hunting with them.

Adam is a pilot with Veterans Airlift Command and brought Keith up here from his home in PA and back free of charge.

The airport was honored to host them before they headed back on their journey home.
