🧵 Huge shoutout to our incredible Sewing Team — thanks to their hard work, we’re in excellent shape for Opening Day (just 11 days away! 🎉)

Here’s what they accomplished over the winter:

✅ Triaged 131 sails and all spinnakers for the Ensigns, J-24s, and Solings
✅ Repaired 72 sails and numerous spinnakers
✅ Replaced missing telltales on every sail
✅ Designed, templated, and sewed 6 new Toura covers
✅ Stocked sails and labeled shelves in the Annex (aka the White House) for quick and easy retrieval
✅ Repaired the cover for the Soling Troika
✅ Built new hiking straps for all Lasers and 420 centerboards (ready for installation during rigging)

All of this was done by volunteers — Mark, Janine, Bonnee, Judy, Dan, and Lisa — for just $1,500, saving MCSC thousands and setting us up for a fantastic season. 🙌

The Sewing Team makes MCSC a better place. They are creative, energetic, and do high-quality work. We're so grateful for their time and talent — be sure to thank them if you see them! 💙
