We safely remove the bees and relocate them to our apiary where they are rehabilitated for pollination.

While fallen trees make great bee habitat, this colony was a little too close for comfort! In the Rio Grande Valley, our feral honey bees have Africanized Honey Bee genetics, making them not ideal to have as neighbors, so these guys were removed before they could make too much trouble for the landowners.

Doesn't happen very often but it does happen! We showed up to a client's site to grab a swarm off the home they are building and while waiting for a response we noticed more and more bees flying around the truck. That is not uncommon: bees find us wherever we are! When we got out to start putting gear together we realized that they were actively trying to get IN our bee vac!
