In the 1830's, there was a chairmaker in Lunenburg who lived and worked at the site numbered 213 on the map of Lunenburg surveyed by Cyrus Kilburn in 1833. This was at the intersection of West St. and Pratt St.

This doll buggy was manufactured by Joel Ellis, founder of Vermont Novelty Works, near Springfield, VT. The Brown family lived at "Laurel Bank", off Pleasant St.
