🏈 Another season of Red Raider football kicks off next week!

Citibus is excited to once again be part of the gameday experience with Gameday Express | Park N Ride service for every Texas Tech home football game this season.

Skip the gameday traffic and let us do the driving! Gameday Express provides convenient round-trip transportation from designated Park N Ride locations to Galaxy Stadium and Raider Alley.

🎟️ Passes for the first home game go on sale Monday, August 31, in the GoPass app.

Throughout the season, passes will go on sale every Monday before a Texas Tech home game. Round-trip service is just $6 per person, with passes available exclusively through GoPass.

We’re ready for another season of football in Lubbock. Wreck ’Em!

This week, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), in partnership with TxDOT and the City of Lubbock, has been out connecting with Citibus riders and sharing important information about pedestrian and driver safety near bus stops.

This outreach is part of a research project that uses several years of crash data to identify areas near bus stops where additional safety education can make a difference.

Whether you’re walking to a bus stop, waiting for your ride, or driving near one, we all have a role in keeping our streets safe.

🩷 Route 205 (Pink) is a brand-new route connecting North Indiana, Texas Tech University, Covenant Medical District, and South Quaker, expanding transit service to South Lubbock. Riders will enjoy convenient access to healthcare, shopping, education, employment, and neighborhoods including Maedgen Area, Stubbs-Stewart, Melonie Park, Quaker Heights, Kingspark, Orchard Park, and Vintage Township.

Key destinations include H-E-B, Amigos, Texas Tech University, Covenant Hospital, Kohl's, Academy Sports, Kingsgate Center, Commons South, and Wal-Mart. Route 205 also offers convenient connections to Routes 5, 9, 34, 211 (Green), 214 (Red), and 025 (Purple).

Congratulations to Amanda Watson, Citibus’ Employee of the Quarter for July – September 2026!

Amanda is a dedicated, dependable team member who consistently goes above and beyond to support her coworkers and keep our Maintenance Department running smoothly. Whether she’s handling data entry, checking inventory, gathering parts and supplies for our mechanics, or helping prepare for the next shift, Amanda is always ready to step in wherever she is needed.

Known as a “quick responder,” Amanda approaches every task with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. She works closely with the maintenance team to anticipate their needs and makes sure important information is communicated between shifts so nothing is overlooked. She is also exceptionally reliable and punctual and willingly stays beyond her scheduled shift when needed to ensure the night crew has the supplies and resources necessary to be successful.

Amanda’s teamwork, reliability, and willingness to go the extra mile make a positive impact at Citibus every day.

The route serves neighborhoods including Downtown/Overton, Tech Terrace, Northridge, Coronado, Bowie, and West End/Canyon West.

Key destinations include Sunrise Canyon, Groves Library, Texas Tech University, Costco, Academy Sports, Higinbotham Park, Covenant Medical District, and Canyon West. Route 214 also offers convenient connections to Routes 5, 9, 205 (Pink), 211 (Green), and 025 (Purple).

Key destinations include TTUHSC, the VA Clinic, Goodwill Resource Center, United Supermarkets, Parkway WIC Clinic, Costco, West End Shopping Center, Estacado High School, and Talkington School. Route 211 also offers convenient connections to Routes 5, 9, 34, 205 (Pink), 214 (Red), and 025 (Purple).
