Today, we proudly celebrate a very special group — the families of our Citibus employees and their incredible Class of 2026 graduates.

From kindergarten and high school to college and even Navy Flight School, these milestones represent years of hard work, perseverance, encouragement, and love. Behind every graduate is a family cheering them on every step of the way — and we know many of those proud supporters are part of the Citibus family.

At Citibus, celebrating families is important because they are the heart behind the people who help move Lubbock forward every day. We are honored to recognize these graduates and the bright futures ahead of them.

That’s the wrap!

What an incredible week as we closed out the annual Texas Transit Association Conference, Expo, & Roadeo hosted right here by Citibus.

From our outstanding operators who represented us in the Roadeo, to the many dedicated volunteers who made every detail come together—this event was powered by an amazing team effort.

With heartfelt gratitude, we extend a special thank you to our Citibus staff for their unwavering dedication and hard work over the past eight months—especially during this week, as you balanced the demands of hosting this event while continuing to deliver daily service and fulfill your regular duties.

A big thank you to Chopped & Sliced BBQ for serving a fantastic lunch and keeping everyone fueled throughout the day!

Also, thank you to David Cervantez for the endless playlist of tunes and for keeping the energy high while announcing each contestant as they took the course!

It was truly an honor to welcome transit professionals, vendors, and visitors from across Texas and beyond to Lubbock. We’re proud to have shared a week full of connection, celebration, and West Texas hospitality—while marking two major milestones: TTA’s 40th anniversary and 50 Years Moving Lubbock Forward with Citibus.

Thank you to the countless individuals who sacrificed their time, filled in where needed, and made this week truly unforgettable.
