My lack of social media presence lately doesn’t mean I’m gone. I have been busy with a few unexpected bumps on this road called life. Anyone else making Lemonade this summer? No? Just me? 🍋 Welp, my word for this summer is PATIENCE.
My husband & I went to Greece with DuVine Cycling for breathtaking rides, unforgettable views, and an incredible adventure...
Well, I definitely got the adventure. 😅 At one point, I went flying over my handlebars in what can only be described as an unplanned acrobatic performance. Thankfully, I’m okay (a few fractures on my left and right arm, a few small tears in my tendons and with a story I’ll be telling for years).
Despite the unexpected detour, the trip was absolutely amazing. The scenery was spectacular and the DuVine team was outstanding—supportive, encouraging, and there every step (and tumble!) of the way.
Sometimes the best adventures aren’t the ones that go exactly as planned—they’re the ones that remind you how resilient you are and how lucky you are to experience places like this. 🇬🇷🚴💙
From Greece we traveled with our kids to Wisconsin. There’s just something special about coming back to our family lake house on Castle Rock Lake as life seems to slow down here. 🧡
When we arrived home in Colorado, we noticed our house wasn’t quite as cool as it normally should be. Nothing makes you appreciate air conditioning quite like the day it decides to stop working... in the middle of summer. 🥵☀️ We are beyond grateful to have a place to stay (with AC) while we wait for ours to be fixed. Here’s hoping for a speedy repair and cooler days ahead!
I have had quite a few travelers head to Disney World, Universal Orlando and Disneyland this summer and I couldn’t be happier for them.
Travel is a gift I’ll never take for granted. ✈️❤️Every journey is an opportunity to experience new places, meet incredible people, learn about different cultures, and create memories that last a lifetime. 🌎 Here’s to collecting moments, not just miles!
