We like so many in the entertainment industry are devastated by the passing of our beloved Dolly.

To be so loved, kind, generous and visionally talented - she made the world a better place so many times over: From Disaster Relief to Education- she was our angel.

Anecdotally, she was the commencement speaker when our Special Project Manager Johnathon Tackett graduated UT. She received her honorary doctorate at the same time.

“Made lots of jokes about double D now being short for Doctor Dolly…….” - that classic wit..

We will miss you with the rest of the world 🌎 in our hearts

Like the feeling of flying.
Like Grandma keeping a newspaper clipping for 28 years. ❤️

In 1998, Brandon was a third grader who got to fly with ZFX in his school’s production of Peter Pan. Nearly three decades later, he reached out to tell us he still remembers it.

And thanks to his grandmother, Betty Haas, that memory came with receipts!

The show was long over. The harnesses were packed away. Brandon may have grown up- but the flying stuck.

That’s one of our favorite things about this job: we build the flight, but the audience keeps the memory.
28 years later- we’re still making magic-and occasionally leaving Grandma with something worth saving.

The best ideas don’t just take flight—they’re built by the right people working together.

We’re constantly developing new flying moments for classic shows, and this Tarzan workshop is just one example. Every rehearsal, every adjustment, and every breakthrough is made possible by a team that trusts one another and shares the same commitment to excellence.

A huge thank you to New Albany Theatre Arts for opening your doors and giving us the space to create. We can’t wait to bring these new ideas to the stage.
