Here’s one of our favorite little tricks. 👇

Before you grab the hammer, grab some painter’s tape.

Place the tape across the back of the frame and mark where the hanging hardware lines up. Then transfer that same piece of tape to the wall, level it, and place your screws right where you made the marks. It takes an extra minute, but it can save you from extra patching later.

We love little organizing and decorating hacks like this because they make projects feel less overwhelming, giving you the confidence to get started. Knowing a few tricks will make the whole process easier!

The average garage holds more than 1,500 items. 😳 It's no surprise that over time, it becomes one of the easiest places for clutter to collect. A crowded garage is more than an organizational challenge; it can also create hidden safety hazards.

Our Founder and CEO, Marty Stevens-Heebner, shared a few simple tips during an interview with Inside Edition. One that surprises many people? Pet food shouldn't be stored in the garage. It can attract rodents and other unwanted pests, even if the bag appears sealed. She also recommends storing hazardous materials like paint and solvents safely out of reach, especially if little ones spend time in the garage.

As backpacks fill up and school buses return to the roads, it's hard not to wonder where the time has gone. It feels like just yesterday you watched your kids take their first step, and now you might be seeing your grandchildren tell you about a new teacher, a new classroom, and all the adventures a new school year will bring.

As life brings new seasons, don't rush past the little moments. Listen to the stories they can't wait to tell you. Celebrate the artwork they proudly bring home. Make time for after-school hugs, weekend visits, and the traditions that make your time together so special.

If someone says you're "too old" to do something, you just tell them they don't know you at all!

One of the things we love most about working with older adults is seeing how many continue to embrace new experiences, discover new passions, and find ways to stay connected to the people and activities they love.

Healthy aging isn't about turning back the clock. In fact, the environments we live in, the relationships we maintain, and the activities we engage in can have a greater impact on our well-being than our age alone.

Additional years of life create opportunities to pursue new hobbies, strengthen relationships, or revisit long-neglected passions. Healthy aging is about maintaining the ability to do the things that matter most to you.
