The Santa Monica Beach curbs 🖤, 1992. I always called them the Natas Kaupas 🙌🏽 Curbs, due to his ground breaking footage there in the NHS/Santa Cruz videos.
Lance Dawes 📸 was the good East Coast homie who had just moved to SF and was just starting Slap Magazine Archives, which was said to be focused mostly on raw street skating. • Lance was down south to shoot photos for the new project. I sessioned the beach curbs like mad back then, almost always at night. 🌘
I often rocked Real gear, especially before we actually had our own Stereo Skateboards stuff. We were so pumped to be down with Deluxe Distribution Jim Thiebaud Thomas Marc & many others.
Lance says we skated all night, which I believe, and this looks to be a b/s noseblunt transfer -dune. ☮️
