Scotland totally lived up to expectations - and can’t wait to go back for more! Here are some photos of a visit to Edinburgh, St. Andrews, and a special stop at marhallresort - a countryside estate and golf resort just outside of Glasgow. We then completed our visit with a quick drive down the Lake District in Northern England which was beautiful and a different experience to the Cotswolds region. All worth doing! TravelStore

I am so excited to share the news that I was just selected as a 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialist! It's a great honor to have made this highly selective list - and it was only possible because of the support that I have received from all of you! I am grateful that you have entrusted me over the years with your travel plans as I firmly believe that the time spent traveling is one of the most enriching, enjoyable and memorable experiences one can have in life.

Cold weather never felt so great. Sweden (and Norway) was a true winter wonderland. We came for the Auroras (which were awesome) but really enjoyed every aspect of our stay. From reindeer, fox and moose sightings along the road, to amazing hikes across frozen lakes and into canyons with frozen waterfalls, to dogsledding and snowmobile adventures, to exploring the Norwegian fjords under snowfall- it was all amazing! Oh - and did I mention visiting both the original ICEHOTEL and sleeping in a glass igloo? Truly memorable in every way. Even someone like me who hates the cold felt that this was definitely a trip everyone should experience! Looking forward to helping make that a reality for you!

Happy 2026! I am a bit late to reflect on 2025- but am grateful for a fantastic and fulfilling year. In addition to planning approximately 200 trips for over 80 clients- I was able to enjoy plenty of my own travel all over the world – a combination of new destinations I had never visited before- to some old favorites that I was thrilled to return to. A few “bucket list” destinations – but also some nearby places that are also so worthwhile. Here’s a list of my 2025 trips – and looking forward to both more personal visits in 2026 and to helping all of you fulfill your travel dreams in 2026!

The Argentine Patagonia totally lived up to high expectations! Such a beautiful combination of majestic mountains, turquoise blue lakes and massive glaciers! Here are images from a stay in El Chalten (the trekking capital of Argentina) where each day was a new adventure hiking to the most stunning lakes waterfalls and mountains that you could imagine. The Fitz Roy is especially noteworthy - photos do not do justice to the experience of standing in front of this powerful jagged mountain. Before or after a few days here- a visit to El Calafate is a must! That’s where you will see the world famous Perito Moreno glacier. It’s worth viewing it both on a boat tour- as well as from the well maintained walking platforms in the Los Glaciares National Park. Also worth a visit (and stay) is - where you can enjoy immersing yourself in Patagonia. Last but not least- a visit to the Glaciarium Museum is really worth it to better understand how the Glaciers were formed and continue to change. This followed by a drink in the Ice Bar is a fantastic way to cap off a most memorable vacation that you’ll cherish forever!

A final batch of photos from my journey to East Greenland on . It’s truly an experience I will never forget that exceeded all my expectations in every way. The nature was stunning, the polar bear sightings more frequent and fascinating than I could ever have dreamed of, and the outstanding knowledge and passion of all the expedition team was beyond impressive. I learned so much from them! Special shout out to the photography experts on board that not only shared their vast knowledge and experiences- but inspired my son to pursue his passion in photography to even greater lengths. Last but not least- I can’t say enough great things about the food onboard. Wow! So delicious and diverse- just incredible! I hope someday you get to experience something like this and that I can somehow help make that a reality!

So excited to be going on my first National Geographic Lindblad Expeditions cruise! This one is an amazing journey through Western Iceland and Eastern Greenland. We are just at the start- but already thrilled with the onboard experience and the first expedition to some incredible waterfalls in Iceland. The ship itself is beautiful and very comfortable- but what is most impressive is the crew of expedition leaders who are all experts in different fields and will clearly make this an even more enriching experience. More in days to come (or in my daily stories). A couple of other cool things on board- 2 “igloos” you can stay in overnight and the Lindblad “open bridge” policy that lets everyone see the navigation. Amazing!!! Switzerland is indisputably one of the most beautiful, picture perfect countries in the world. I used to come here often on my own family vacations as a child and was thrilled to share it’s beauty with my own family. There is so much to see and experience here in such a small and easily navigable country. Some of our highlights were: car-free Wengen as a home base from which to experience the Bernese Oberland and world-famous Jungfraujoch mountain, the beautiful cities of Bern, Basel and Zurich, the Lakes of Lucerne and Lausanne, and last but not least- the town of Gruyeres- where yes- I had to have a fondue despite the warm weather! No matter what type of traveler you are - and what season- Switzerland will have something for you and I’d love to help you plan a visit to get the most out of your stay.

Incredibly, this was my first visit to Berlin- but it certainly won’t be my last! I expected the vibrancy and some of the beautiful modern architecture- but didn’t expect to see so many historical and impressive buildings- nor to be as engaged in the history of the east/west division. A special shout out to Hotel de Rome, a Rocco Forte Hotel - for a truly exceptional stay in an unbeatable location from which to enjoy everything Berlin has to offer. An honorary mention to the Doner Kebab that is so prevalent in town 🙂 TravelStore
