We service all makes and models: outboards/stern drive, gas/diesel. Willing to train mechanics currently in other fields (truck, auto, motorcycle, equipment). Marine Evolutions has an immediate opening for a full-time shop assistant to help keep our busy shop flowing smoothly. Duties may include organizing tools/equipment, keeping the shop tidy, washing and detailing boats, assisting mechanics with getting boats ready for spring, lifting engines, and assisting with fiberglass repairs. Must be able to stand on your feet for long durations and lift up to 50 pounds. Some knowledge of boats would be nice, but not required. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Marine Evolutions is a full-service boat repair shop in Lorton, Virginia. We repair all makes and models of engines (inboard/outboard, gasoline/diesel, all brands) and boats/trailers (fiberglass repair, electronics, fabrication, etc.). We are willing to train you to work toward becoming a boat mechanic if you are interested; there are plenty of opportunities for advancement here!

We're throttling up over here! Yes, we are still open. We have fewer than 10 full-time employees and we are able to maintain at least 6 feet between our technicians and office staff. We are also wiping down all boat surfaces worked on/touched with Spray Nine, a hospital-grade marine degreaser and disinfectant. The same goes for our common areas/door knobs/etc.

We regret we are unable to shake your hand at the moment but please know the sentiment is there and that we appreciate your support of our small business very much!
