Spring is here; don't give into distraction and watch out for school buses!

A Byron man was hit with a hefty fine this week after pleading guilty to driving by several school buses that had their stop arms and flashing red lights activated.

As you pass a School Bus on your commute this morning, be sure to give them a wave of thanks. These are individuals who are the first and last face students see on school days. We at Lake Country are thankful for all our drivers for how they keep our students safe everyday!!

We are thankful for our bus drivers!!

This week we are celebrating school bus drivers across the state for their hard work and dedication to student transportation. Today, I want you to meet Moe. Moe is a cuddly teddy bear that rides along on one of our special needs buses. Moe is there to comfort children when they have a bad day, when they are sad leaving their parents and to just be a companion to the students on the bus. We applaud this bus driver for going above and beyond to make sure his students feel comfortable on the bus.
