Antique Airplane Association of Colorado We are a group of individuals who love EVERYTHING about old airplanes! We fly, restore, and study the history of airplanes.

We are people who love airplanes, especially the great antique and classic aircraft from the early days of aviation. Our primary mission is to “keep the antiques flying” as a form of living history. We offer educational for school STEM programs to provide young people with opportunities to learn about and participate in aviation. We restored a 1946 Taylorcraft Airplane that provided over 100 young

people with hands-on experience with practical applications of their STEM studies. Some of our Taylorcraft “alumni” have earned their pilot’s licenses or are successfully pursuing careers in the military, commercial aviation, aerospace engineering and related fields. Our Club recently purchased a hangar at Vance Brand Airport that will become the new home of our airplane restoration projects. We are currently remodeling the hangar and expect to be up and running sometime this fall.
