10/25/2025, The mess at the end of the track near Michigan Ave. Contractor that pulled the Michigan Ave. road crossing out for L.M.U. didn't bother to cut the rails. Instead used a big excavator to rip the road crossing out and litterally snapped the rails in two. They left us this mess.

Some of our relay ties that we have been selling off. I need to save a bundle and a half back for a group over near Peru, IN. needing to lay a section of display track. Most of these came off of the former C&O near Peru, IN. when the CSX was removing that line. These are about 35 + years old. They weigh about 200 lbs. a piece.

10/20/2025, what is left of our old switch tie pile. We are selling these at $12 to $15 a piece. Most are no longer good for track use, but can be used for landscaping purposes. You will have to find your own way to load them. Eventually we are looking to buy some newer switch and / or regular track ties. Both relays and new ones.

10/20/2025, We look east at our engine house. At some point we need a contractor to work on those engine house doors, as one door is off of its track. I also want to take our metal keystone down to clean it and repaint it. Plus we need to totally rebuild the engine house track in between 6th St. and the enginehouse, as all of the ties are severly rotting.

10/15/2025, We are just south of the former LER road crossing with Old Hwy. 24 in Logansport, IN. Somewhere in them weeds is track waiting to be overhauled. This was the location of the former PRR two track signal bridge, which is preserved downtown.

10/15/2025, Old PRR railroad signal cabinet and battery case found in the weeds after brush cutting in the vicinity of the Cole Hardwood switch. This would possibly been for part of the interlocking of the trackside signals for taking trains into the old Yard C to the west of here.
