From all of us at E n D Towing n Transportation Inc. We want to extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Trooper Clay M. Carns #6512.
May you find comfort through Christ as you go through this difficult time.
In a nationwide effort to educate drivers outside of Police, Fire, Ems and the Towing industry about the dangers we are facing everyday,
Each year on December 23, Scott's Law Day is observed throughout the State as a day to honor public safety workers and to remind motorists to slow down, change lanes away from a stationary authorized emergency vehicle, and proceed with due regard to safety and traffic conditions. This is something that really hits home for me, on July 12th 2016 I was hit sitting in my tow truck attempting to pick up a vehicle on I-55 in Bolingbrook, to this day it amazes me the amount of people that still don't know about this nationwide law, I’ve had folks blow their horns, yell out the window, as if I'm inconveniencing them. I’m trying to make it home to my family and at the same time keep you out of jail.
If you see emergency vehicles or just a vehicle on the side of the road SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER. We want everyone to stay safe and arrive alive.
Sincerely
Ulysses and Ericka Doss
