Thomas Trucking and Star Specialized Transport are currently hiring for a full-time administrative position!

General administrative duties would include answering phones, filing and greeting customers. This person would also assist with dispatching company drivers, ordering oversized permits and completing invoicing paperwork as needed. Some experience with accounts payable, billing, and/or accounts receivable would be very beneficial.

Although experience in the trucking industry is NOT required for the position, as training will be provided for all areas of work, a general interest or base of knowledge would be helpful. The task of ordering oversized permits requires GREAT attention to detail and understanding of maps and mapping systems (similar to Google Maps). Each state has a different system to learn, so this employee would need to have a good sense of computer knowledge and ability to navigate and learn various websites. Applicants must be self-motivated, organized, and have the ability to multitask.
