We had our annual family picnic last night and we had Joe come down and get his retirement watch. Joe was dedicated to the Little Rock fire dept. for 27 years. Thanks Joe schilling for your years have leader ship and dedication!

We want to say thank you for everyone coming out on a hot but fun day to support the Little Rock fire department! Hope everyone had a good time and we will see everyone again next year! Also thank you to our supporters for the donations for the raffle and the pork again this year!

Thursday 1:50 pm | Thunderstorm chances will increase through the day into tonight. Some of these storms will become severe with large hail up to 2 inches in diameter, wind gusts up to 75 mph and perhaps a tornado all possible. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive any warnings that are issued.

Chances for strong to severe storms will return to the area near and especially after midnight tonight. These storms will initially push into the Missouri River Valley before pushing off to the northeast through the night. Large hail to the size of golf balls and isolated pockets of damaging winds to 60 to 70 mph are the primary hazards. Storms look to exit the area by 8 am Wednesday morning.
