A milestone moment for Lancaster Airport ✈️

The first inbound United flight from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) touched down yesterday evening just after 8:00 PM. This morning, the first outbound flight departs at 9:05 AM, officially launching daily United service and ushering in an exciting new era of connectivity for our region.

Cheers to 5 years of Breeze Airways 👏 Lancaster Airport has been along for the ride since October 2024.

5 years ago today, we sold our very first plane ticket! ✈️

Since then we’ve welcomed over 16 million Guests across 80+ cities, all while creating a new standard for affordable air travel without the trade-offs.

The Lancaster Airport Authority and SkyWest Airlines are pleased to announce that United Express flights are now available for purchase between Lancaster Airport (LNS) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). The first United Express flight, operated by SkyWest, from ORD to LNS will begin on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and flights from LNS to ORD will begin on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
