Linwood KS Lions Club

Linwood KS Lions Club We Serve!! We meet at the Linwood Community Building, 105 E. 3rd Street in Linwood the first and third Monday's of each month except for June, July and August.

The Linwood Lions club is a volunteer service organization comprised of men and women from the Linwood area that seek to improve the community through their service. We invite any interested persons to attend our meetings!! We have various fund raisers throughout the year that enable us to assist groups and individuals from our community. Just a few of the ways we serve our community include:
- Bu

ilding of the shelter house in Linwood City Park
- Annual Scholarships for higher education
- Linwood Community Library summer reading program
- Linwood Elementary Book Fair
- Linwood Elementary Parent Teacher Club Chili Supper ice cream
- K-32 Highway trash pick up
- Food drives for Tonganoxie and Basehor food pantries
- Distribution of free produce from the Leavenworth Prison every Tuesday during the growing season at the Linwood Park

What are you doing for dinner tonight (Saturday September 27th)?? We have a great idea!! The Linwood Lions Club will be hosting a smoked meat BBQ to support projects for the betterment of our community. Adults $15 – 10 & under $7. The menu includes chicken, brisket, pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, bread, dessert and ice tea. We will also be selling slabs of ribs for $25.
