St. Lucia is on the top of my list of islands to visit in the Caribbean. Considering a family vacation over the Christmas break? There’s still time and resorts to book. Here is what to consider:
• If traveling out of the country, make sure everyone has a valid passport. If not, there is still time to apply, but time is running out. Current processing time is about 10-13 weeks.
• Know what’s important to you. Beach? Pool? Food? Entertainment? Resort websites and photos are not your friend. Your travel agent can find you the best options using their resources and travel groups for realistic and recent reviews and information.
• Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended. Life happens and you never know what the future holds. Even when it’s only a few short months away. Protect your investment and travel at ease knowing if something happens, you will not lose your money or vacation.
