To our TFM family,
We’ve waited several days to share this news because, in all honesty, we just haven’t had the words.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share one of our greatest inspirations, and truly the strongest person we know, Lila Hunter, has traded in her wheelchair and medical equipment for what we’re sure are the fastest angel wings Heaven has ever seen. Many of you know Lila’s dad, Rich, who was an instrumental part of TFM for many years and remains a lifelong friend.
Lila was our biggest fan, our toughest critic, and a daily source of inspiration. She embodied strength, courage, and positivity in every way. Even with the odds stacked against her, she never gave up or let anything dim her smile or slow her down.
She reminded us every single day that while we all love our sport, there are things in life far more important — and that we should always hold close what truly matters most.
We ask that you please keep the Hunter family in your thoughts and prayers. Lila was their world, and to say that hearts are shattered would be an understatement. In Rich’s own words, “please give your kids an extra hug.”
TFM will be closed Wednesday as we take this day to honor Lila and attend her services. Hours may also vary the remainder of the week.
We appreciate your understanding and continued prayers for the Hunter family.
