Toniann Richard is executive director of the Health Care Collaborative (HCC) of Rural Missouri. Richard’s passion for rural health stems from her desire to serve those in need. "I have a strong passion for people who live in poverty and for those who are hurting," she said.

This passion has been a catalyst for her leadership as CEO at HCC, the only health care network in the country that operates not one, but four Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). To learn more, visit HCCNetwork.org.

HealthTran is a transportation initiative provided by The Health Care Collaborative of Rural Missouri in partnership with The Missouri Rural Health Association (MRHA) and Feonix Mobility Rising. HealthTran will provide patients of Live Well Community Health Centers to scheduled healthcare appointments for no charge. Citizens in the City of Lexington have been awarded a generous donation to get non Medicaid patients to important medical appointments to improve and maintain their overall health and avoid using the important resources of our Rural Emergency Rooms. As of November 5th HealthTran has provided over 200 rides to a variety of patients within Lafayette County and look forward to serving more in our community. There are also volunteer driver opportunities with HealthTran and providing your neighbor with a ride for a reimbursement of 80 cents per mile. Please contact Suzanne Smith or Chris Carney at (660) 259-2440 to schedule a ride or interest in being a volunteer driver.
