Now this is a one of a kind Bentz Boat!! When our crew was tasked with building and designing a vessel that would allow Josh better mobility with his powerchair we gladly accepted the challenge. From bow to stern this boat was specially designed for access and ease of use. Even the trailer was customized to get the boat as low as possible. The boat is powered by a Yamaha 300HP outboard equipped with Yamahas' digital electronic steering and shift, the boat steers and shifts with a fingers touch. The boat is equipped with remote operated battery switches at the helm station, the helm station is specifically designed for access from the powerchair per the owners height and needs. Speaking of powerchair we fit a marine suspension seat on a powerchair chassis and integrated an anchor system on the bottom of the power chair to keep the captain in place when he stands on those 300 horses. As an avid fisherman, usability of the deck space was a top priority and the bow deck is where the action takes place. We installed a MFD and electric trolling motor at the bow deck. A flush mounted in-floor lift brings the powerchair from the main deck to the bow deck height and is remotely operated from the powerchair. We installed an electric gunwale mounted hoist for getting Josh in and out of the vessel. The hoist recesses into the gunwale when not in use. When trolling the boat is equipped with a Yamaha 9.9 kicker that can be trimmed and started from the helm station and completely controlled via the Reactor 40 autopilot remote. In floor rod lockers, hot water hand wash station, removable soft top, and movable rear seating are just a few of the customizations. 25' X 7' Bottom X 9' Beam - This vessel was completed and delivered late summer 2025 for the USGS. It is powered by HJ241 jet and 6.2L Raptor engine. No frills here just the necessities for daily work. Capable of hauling big loads in the technical local waters and built to last, this Bentz is sure to be around for many years to come!

This boat passed stability testing and has all the power needed to comfortably pack its 19 passengers and 2 crew members.
