BIG NEWS! 🎉

Favorite Grampy Travels has been invited to attend the exclusive media preview of Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas this week before the resort officially opens.

Our team will be onsite experiencing the park, meeting with Universal representatives, gathering photos and videos, and learning everything we can so we can bring that information directly back to this community.

One of the things we're most proud of is that our advisors don't just read press releases. We experience destinations firsthand whenever possible so we can give families real-world advice based on actual experience.

Record breaking Memorial Day weekend travel!

An estimated 45 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more from home between Thursday, May 21, and Monday, May 25. This slightly edges out last year's record of 44.8 million.

🚘 Most of those people will be in their cars—39.1 million out of that 45 million will be driving.

Worst time to drive❓If you are driving, Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. these are going to be the worst times to drive in any major metro area. The absolute heaviest peak congestion will hit during the afternoon rush hours (3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) on both days, as well as Monday afternoon as people head home.
