🏔️ Project Spotlight: Taking Freight to Alaska! 🚢

Our Branch Manager, Jack Justice, recently helped coordinate a complex project for one of CargoQuotes’ long-term customers, moving freight from Kansas City to Kodiak, Alaska.

As the third-party logistics provider, Jack coordinated 5 total loads, including 2 oversized shipments, working with trucking partners, drivers, terminals, shippers, and a barge partner to keep everything moving smoothly.

The project took 6 months of planning and coordination, with Jack working backward from the barge schedule to ensure the trucks, documents, pickups, and deliveries were all lined up and ready to go.

Thanks to strong communication and established relationships with the customer and transportation partners, the project went smoothly from start to finish.

We're proud of Jack and our team for helping make this unique Alaska shipment a success, and we're already looking forward to the next opportunity! 🌎
