Ms. Fiebig's 4th grade students wrapped up the month of May with an exciting “Plan a City” project! Students first explored coordinate planes and learned about different types of communities before putting their knowledge into action by designing their very own cities. They thoughtfully planned essential buildings and services needed to create a successful and well-run community. To finish the project, students proudly presented their cities to the class and explained why each building played an important role in helping their community thrive. We are so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and hard work throughout this project!

Some students took their assignment to “dress up as what they want to be when they grow up” very seriously!! What a great way to end Career Week!

This week is Southwest’s annual Career Week. We will be listening to amazing presentations this week as community members discuss their Careers.
