Howdy Tripoli Houston Flyers and Friends,

The countdown is officially rolling, and the TNT Texas Shootout is almost here. If you’ve never been to a big rocket event, this is your cue to load up, fuel up, and point your rig toward North Texas. This is one of the best chances all year to meet flyers from across the country, talk rockets ’til sundown, and send ’em skyward under that wide‑open Texas sky.

TNT has an amazing launch site that makes this event something special — and just to kick things up another notch, they’re putting on a full‑blown fireworks show. Rockets by day, fireworks by night… that’s how Texas does it.

Tripoli Houston will be rolling out a brand‑new idea this year: The Texas Outpost. It’ll be our home base on the range — a place to gather, cool off, swap stories, and celebrate the day’s flights. Open to all flyers, friendly as ever.

The first caravan heads out Thursday for Seymour. Once we hit the field, we’ll raise the Texas flag high so you can spot us from anywhere on the prairie.

Howdy Tripoli Houston Flyers and Friends,
Dust off your boots and prep your birds—we are officially less than two weeks away from the Texas Shootout! It’s time to finish those builds and double-check your recovery gear because things are about to get loud in the Lone Star State.
Our caravan will be heading out from the Clear Lake area on May 21st. We’re looking forward to clear skies, high altitudes, and an amazing time with the crew at the Rocket Ranch in Seymour, Texas.
Whether you’re aiming for a new certification or just looking to enjoy some high-flying action with friends, this is going to be one for the books.
