Shuttlecock Brewery Brewing beer one day at a time. Deep within the NASA Mission Control Center there is a chamber. A hallowed shrine. And sobriety was not an option.

One evening, at the stroke of midnight, a league of extraordinary brewers were assembled in secrecy. Their mission – to plot the method by which they might herald the dawn of the brewed awakening. As they consorted, and sipped on delicious brews, achieving a heightened sense of things, the sound of a trumpet was heard from deep within the halls of the MCC. Everyone was silenced. And then – suddenl

y – a mighty "CA-CAW!" erupted. Just as a chill tumbled down the brewers' spines, the doors to the chamber flew open, and from a wall of smoke strutted in a majestic being, carrying a glowing chalice. He was beclothed in an astronaut flightsuit, but had the head of a mighty rooster. He was part shuttle, and part cock. Like a shuttle he could fly high in the sky, and like a cock he could peck low at the ground. The creature climbed atop their brewing rig as if it were an altar and let out a mighty crow. And their porcelain beer steins were shattered. It was then that everyone knew that this divine being would be their namesake.
