What's better than a scenic summer train ride? A scenic summer train ride with your favorite people! ☀️

Come and enjoy an unplugged 2.5 hour ride through the Colorado Rocky Mountains with your favorite people. Smell the budding aspens, soak in the warm Colorado sun and fill your camera with photos you can't get anywhere else.

On the way up you will enjoy a running commentary from our Conductor who will point out the amazing sights and give you a taste of colorful Colorado history.

At our French Gulch Water tower, you can step off the train and into the mountains. Make sure to check out our vintage caboose!

Reserve the Caboose on the Leadville Railroad and enjoy your own private railcar with incredible rear-of-the-train views through the Rocky Mountains. Perfect for groups, families, and special occasions. Plus, for half the trip, a brakeman rides along in the caboose to share stories and history from the rails.

Purchase Coach tickets first then add on the Caboose. Fits up to 12 adults comfortably

Copula Seats give an extra special view of the tops of the train cars as we wind up the mountains.

Pack a picnic lunch our tables have plenty of room for all your yummy snacks!

Guests are still able to access the rest of the train for additional photo opportunities or to visit our Boxcar or Grill car!
