It’s Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and today Pa State Treasurer Stacy Garrity who does a GREAT job for the people of our Commonwealth, stopped here in District # 59 to see the incredible work being done at the Stoneybrook Foundation in Acme, where they work with individuals of all ages that have a wide range of disabilities.

Our State Treasurer took the time to share information to promote the PA ABLE Savings Program. Stoneybrook helps over 900 children and adults annually with their therapeutic riding center and veterans programs. If you have a family member or friend with a disability, learn more about what PA ABLE can do for them.

I sponsored to feed Polly Pocket last year and this year I’m sponsoring a favorite horse “Bella.” If you are ever looking for a good cause, consider sponsoring to feed one of their horses for a month or a child to do a 3 day summer camp. As we watched 13 year old Cate’s session, it warmed our hearts to see her building confidence. Not only did she shine, she was all Smiles!

Who else was offended by the Shameful Political Cartoon ran in Thursdays local paper! Did they miss the election results? I am so sick of telling them why they have no integrity. Multiple calls came in over their offensive editorial. Not sure who they think they are appeasing, but I can tell you that it’s not the MAJORITY! I’m off to the Inauguration- but I want to say that so many Americans have great respect for this country, our flag, and the military. Can the Latrobe Bulletin say the same? When will the media / press get that We the People - no longer trust them or need them & yet it continues. I can assure you when I’m at that Capitol in DC over the next couple of days, the Flag will be flying and I will be there & Very Proud!

The Trump House was such a special place & we can celebrate this Christmas season with friends & family as we look forward to this country coming together under President Trump to Make America Great Again.
