✈️ Sun Country Airlines is moving to Terminal 1 at LAS.

Beginning Aug. 5, all Sun Country passengers should go to Terminal 1 for baggage, ticketing and check-in.

Another successful Paper Plane Palooza is in the books!

Today, we welcomed students from Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada to LAS for a day of paper airplane competitions, aviation activities and a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting world of aviation.

A special thank you to Clark County, Nevada Manager Kevin Schiller for joining us to celebrate this annual tradition and help inspire the next generation of aviation enthusiasts.

Paper Plane Palooza is all about introducing local students to the many opportunities our industry has to offer and inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.

A big thank you to our airline and community partners for helping make the day possible and for donating school supplies to support these incredible students as they head back to the classroom.

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT: The Clark County Department of Aviation is beginning preliminary road work for the upcoming repaving of the Airport Connector Tunnels. Travelers should expect lane reductions in both directions throughout construction.

Other construction projects by Clark County Public Works and NDOT are also underway nearby. Please allow extra travel time to and from the airport.

📅 Preliminary work begins Friday, July 31
5 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Traffic lanes in the northbound and southbound tunnels will be reduced.

📅 Construction begins Monday, August 10
Two lanes will remain open in both the northbound and southbound tunnels throughout the project.
Crews will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction from midnight to 5 a.m., Sunday through Friday.

The Airport Connector Tunnel Pavement Project is anticipated to be completed by the end of December 2026. We will provide updates as necessary.

Calling all aviation enthusiasts and photographers! LAS Airport is now accepting submissions for the 2026 National Aviation Day Photo Contest.

🎒Back-to-school season is an opportunity to come together and support local students and families.

For the third year, the Clark County Department of Aviation partnered with The Salvation Army USA for the “Supply Our Students” Drive, donating more than 450 notebooks, 150 boxes of crayons, 130 boxes of markers, 120 boxes of glue sticks, 100 folders, plus pencils, paper, binders, lunch boxes and highlighters.

We hope these supplies help local students start the school year ready to learn and thrive.
