Escaping human trafficking is a critical first step, but reaching safety and accessing care can bring additional challenges.

At a press conference at LAS Airport’s Innovation Checkpoint, Congresswoman Susie Lee, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, Clark County Commission Chair Michael Naft and Nevada Policy Council on Human Trafficking Co-Founder Lauren Boitel highlighted the proposed Jimmy Deal Trafficking Survivors Assistance Act. The bill would help survivors navigate air travel when they lack the identification required to fly.

The legislation honors late TSA officer Jimmy Deal, whose work helped survivors fleeing trafficking get to safety and reunite with loved ones.

💗 There’s a little more pink at LAS this month! Our wonderful airline partners came together this week to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Delta Air Lines’ Breast Cancer One Charter brought breast cancer survivors, caregivers and volunteers to Las Vegas, where the flight was greeted with a water arch. Air France’s Pink Flights initiative also brought a little extra pink to LAS, with crew members supporting the Flight Attendants Against Cancer Association and its mission to raise breast cancer awareness.

We’re honored to see so much pink and support at LAS this month.

✈️ A new direct route from LAS to Querétaro is here!

Beginning this week, Volaris will launch twice weekly service between Harry Reid International Airport and Querétaro, Mexico, making it the airline’s third destination from Las Vegas.

We celebrated the new route with a little Las Vegas flair alongside our showgirls! 💃✨

Volaris launched new nonstop service today between Harry Reid International Airport and Querétaro, with flights operating twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Known for its colonial plazas, w**e region and role as an important business and cultural destination, Querétaro is now directly connected to Las Vegas.

⚠️ LIVE FIRE TRAINING: LAS Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) crews will be conducting live fire training Tuesday, Sept. 29 through Thursday, Oct. 1.

The training gives our ARFF team an opportunity to practice responding to aircraft emergencies and stay prepared for the unexpected.

If you spot flames on the airfield during this time, know that it’s all part of the training our team regularly completes to stay ready. ✈️🚒

20 years of nonstop connection between Las Vegas and Seoul ✈️

Yesterday, we celebrated Korean Air's 20th anniversary of nonstop service between Seoul and Las Vegas with a special welcome for arriving passengers at Terminal 3. 👯‍♀️🎉

Since launching the route in 2006, Korean Air has grown its service from three weekly flights to daily nonstop service, connecting more than 1.5 million passengers between the two cities along the way.

Here’s to 20 years of connecting Las Vegas to South Korea and the Asia-Pacific region. Cheers to many more! 🥂

Today, LAS, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Signature Aviation celebrated the opening of a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility supporting international general aviation and cargo operations.

The new facility provides dedicated space for international processing in LAS’ general aviation and private jet area, helping support the continued growth of international aviation in Las Vegas.
