A note to everyone. We are living in a generation where many people feel entitled to everything, even when they haven’t worked for it. Sometimes I wonder whether this is happening only in the United States or if it’s becoming common around the world. Somewhere along the way we’ve started expecting rewards without effort, recognition without sacrifice, and success without discipline. Hard work, personal responsibility, and gratitude seem to be losing their place. I’m not saying everyone is this way. There are still many who work hard, take responsibility, and earn what they have. But it feels like our values are changing and I wonder if we’re losing appreciation for discipline, perseverance, and gratitude. What do you think? Do you believe this is just a phase, or is it a sign of a broader change in our culture? I’d genuinely like to hear different perspectives, because these are conversations worth having.
