On Tuesday August 20th we received a phone call around 10:45 PM in regards to a boat on fire at our shipyard. Upon arrival we discovered the MV Wyoming was up in flames, we noticed the ladder to the Wyoming missing and the door to another vessel dock at our shipyard was open. The next morning the owners of the Wyoming was able to make entrances into what was left of the cabin of the Wyoming to find material missing out the boat. Fire Marshall investigation showed the boat was burned not by accident, but by someone. After long investigation, views of camera footage an arrest was made. We at David Industries would like to thank the Lafourche Parish Fire Department, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Office & detectives and the State Fire Marshall’s for getting the job done.
