Do they have what it takes?
That's the question you should ask yourself when choosing a moving company for your Wyoming move.
Some folks look for comfort and security from the big name companies - but they're looking in the wrong place. For over 10 years, Smooth Movers has faithfully served the people of Wyoming when move day comes around.
Unlike those big names, where you're just a number on a quote, to us you're more than that. You're our neighbors - and our friends. Around here, we believe in building relationships - not just one time transactions. The Smooth Movers crew are the same people you're going to see at the deli counter at Safeway, in the cheap seats at War Memorial, and at Freedom Has a Birthday come the Fourth of July. We're out shoveling snow and warming up the trucks on 4th street in the morning when you're headed to work. And we're involved in the community. Sponsoring softball teams, baseball teams, civic events, and social support programs, and giving back to OUR community. For years.
And we know what it takes to make moves in Wyoming. We're not going in blind with some corporate headquarters in Kentucky or California or Missouri - those folks don't know what it actually takes to make moves in Wyoming. We know that breaking out the snow shovels to clear the driveway (sometimes in May) is part of the job. That every third house is going to have a 500 pound gunsafe. We know just how to pack the taxidermy so the antlers don't get chipped and the ears don't get bent. We know that most of the doorways in the tree area don't get much wider than 32 inches, and extra care is going to have to be taken fitting the couch through the door.
And we know the importance of making sure you can get to your new job and your new house in Cheyenne on time, and that interstate 80 might not be the best route - due to hurricane force winds, or black ice, or a herd of rabid antelope. We know when it's better to take Happy Jack, or dip down 287 into Colorado, turning a crosswind into a headwind, and then shooting over Owl Canyon Road and then back up 25. We know how to keep it safe and keep it moving through a Wyoming Winter - or any other time of year.
We've yet to put a moving truck on it's side, despite over a decade and tens of thousands of moves. (Except that one time where Mark was trying to do donuts in the Wal-Mart parking lot, and that doesn't count).
This is our home, and we don't take that responsibility lightly. Don't trust just anyone with your move. We've got the grit, the know-how, and the experience to get it done right - every time. If you're on the move, make the one call that counts. Smooth Movers. (307) 363-1464. Trucks. Muscle. Magic.
