CATA Rydz Connect now offers more options for traveling to and from Capital Region International Airport (LAN)!

Riders can travel affordably between the airport and destinations within the Lansing and Delta Township On-Demand zones, as well as nine designated locations within the MSU Campus Zone. Service is available daily from 4 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Airport trips must be prebooked at least two hours before the desired pickup or arrival time and may be scheduled up to three days in advance.

Time for some Questions and LANswers Trivia to celebrate our centennial year! 🤓

➡️ Question: What year did commercial flights begin at LAN?

➡️ Answer: LAN's passenger service was launched by Kohler Airlines in 1929! The flight started in Detroit, stopped in Lansing and Grand Rapids, then flew across Lake Michigan to Milwaukee — completely transforming how people traveled across the Midwest.

📣 HAPPENING TODAY: Please be advised that Niowave will conduct a planned emergency preparedness training exercise at its airport facility on Port Lansing Road. This should not impact LAN's flight schedule or traveler experience.

Travelers visiting the airport may notice heightened activity, including a higher presence of emergency response personnel and vehicles in training. The exercise is expected to take place between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
