-California Ups the Ante on ZEVs with Advanced Clean Fleets Rule

-Starting in 2036, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in the state of California must be zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs). Fleet owners, including those for private services and government fleets, will begin transitioning towards zero-emission vehicles in 2024, with the ability to continue operating existing vehicles through their useful life. The new rule is more aggressive than the original proposal, which had a deadline of 2040.
