“Write your own adventure” has always been more than just a phrase for EverWild. I love the idea that all of our lives are made up of different chapters, and sometimes those chapters take us halfway across the world. Travel has a way of turning places you’ve never been into pieces of your story, through the memories you make, the people you meet, and the little parts of yourself you discover along the way. Seeing these words make their way around the world feels a little surreal, and it’s such a beautiful reminder of why EverWild exists in the first place. There is so much life out there to experience, so wherever it takes you, keep writing your own adventure.

“But I don’t know anyone going.”

Honestly? That’s kind of the point.

One of my favorite things about group travel is watching people show up as strangers and leave with new friendships, inside jokes, shared memories, and people they probably never would have met otherwise.

I truly believe we’re meant to have community. We all bring different personalities, experiences, stories, and perspectives to the table, and there is something really special about getting outside of your normal circle and experiencing the world alongside new people.

You don’t need to convince your best friend to go. You don’t need a partner. You don’t need to already know someone in the group.

You just have to be willing to say yes to the adventure.

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Maddie, owner and travel advisor behind EverWild Travel Co. ✈️

I started EverWild because I believe travel is about so much more than simply going somewhere new. It’s about the people you meet, the cultures you experience, the stories you bring home, and the connections you make along the way.

That’s also why group travel has become something I’m incredibly excited about.

There’s something special about experiencing a new part of the world alongside other people. Sharing meals, trying something completely new together, laughing when things don’t go exactly as planned, learning about each other, and coming home with friendships and memories that didn’t exist before you left.

You don’t have to already have a travel group to experience that either. Come with your spouse, bring your best friend, grab a family member, or come on your own. Sometimes the people you meet along the way become one of the best parts of the story.

You’re Already Paying for a Travel Advisor. So Why Not Use One?

One of the biggest misconceptions about using a travel advisor is that booking on your own automatically saves you money. You might think, “Why would I use a travel advisor when I can book the same vacation online myself?” And you absolutely can. But for many resorts, cruises, tour operators, and vacation packages, travel advisor commission is already built into the supplier’s pricing.
Booking directly doesn’t necessarily mean you’re removing that cost from your vacation. So why not do a little research, find an advisor you trust, and use the professional service that may already be accounted for in the price you’re paying?

1. We turn thousands of options into the right options.
Google “resorts in Mexico” and you’ll get thousands of results. Beautiful photos, five star reviews, sponsored listings, TikToks, blogs, and probably more opinions than you had before you started.
But which resort is actually right for you?
A resort perfect for a honeymoon might be completely wrong for a family with young children. A beautiful property might have a mediocre beach. A resort known for nightlife might be miserable for someone looking for a quiet anniversary getaway.
Finding a good resort is easy. Finding the right resort for you takes more work.

2. We have relationships and resources beyond Google.
Travel advisors attend trainings, tour properties, travel ourselves, speak directly with suppliers, build industry relationships, and communicate with other advisors who have recently visited destinations around the world.
A resort’s website is designed to sell you the resort. My job is to ask: Would I actually send my client here?
I want to know what the beach is really like, whether the room upgrade is worth it, who the property is best suited for, and sometimes, most importantly, who I wouldn’t recommend it to.

3. A good travel advisor will tell you no.
This is one of the most important parts of how I run my business.
I’m not going to recommend something simply because I can sell it. If I wouldn’t stay somewhere myself, I’m not comfortable sending my clients there. If you bring me a resort and I know there’s a better fit, I’m going to tell you.

My goal isn’t just to make a booking. It’s to build a relationship with my clients so that when you come home, you trust me enough to plan the next adventure too. So, do you need a travel advisor?
No. You can spend hours comparing resorts, reading reviews, researching room categories, figuring out transfers, checking policies, and deciding whether that one star review is a legitimate concern or someone angry that it rained or you can find someone whose expertise and travel style you trust and let them help you make sense of it all.

Google is an incredible resource. I use it every day.
But Google doesn’t know you.
Your travel advisor should.
And that’s exactly why we’re here.
