Time to show the kids that the US is not all beaches. We headed to the Arizona dessert in Tuscon. So many places to see: Took a walk around the neighborhood getting acquainted with local vegetation, Flandau Science Museum and Planetarium, Pima Air Museum. Just a warm up for the upcoming adventures. Note the picture of earth with all the lines around it shows all the space junk and satellites that are up there. Scary! Stay tuned for more.

Two days in Mt Baker skiing with my son, daughter and grandson. Snow on Saturday and perfect conditions on Sunday. So much fun and lots of laughs. I also learned I can still handle a few tumbles and live to talk about. 🤩😉

Great day re-discovering Shinnecock Canal and the Hampton’s. Beautiful fall day at Coopers Beach and driving by all the amazing mansions. Enjoyed lunch at the Shinnecock Cafe.

The last day of our trip was busy, we started at the Tower of London, had lunch near Westminster bridge and road the London Eye. Then we ventured out for a wonderful dinner at a unique restaurant called “Sketch” . However, our London highlight was definitely seeing the play Hamilton. Heading home to family, pups and friends. The best part of traveling.

A day trip to Salisbury, about 90 minutes north of London to visit the Salisbury Cathedral featured in The Pillars of the Earth. Then out to Stonehenge. Another great day finished by seeing the play Hamilton. 🥰

Orkney was our second stop in Scotland after Shetland. Both h are rich in history and feature the gorgeous, green rolling hills. The people have been so friendly and welcoming. We were also lucky to get into another cooking class featuring South American food.
