On Wednesday, June 17, between 8 am and 4 pm, the Northern Cheyenne and Oglala Sioux will be participating in a memorial horseback ride to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of the Rosebud. The ride will occur on Secondary Highway 314 (S 314) between Kirby and the Rosebud Battlefield State Park. Travelers should expect riders on the roadway and consider taking alternate routes.
