Prefer a card in your wallet? The Citrus Connection SMARTCARD is a reloadable plastic card that stores your purchased fares. Buy a new card for $2 and load eligible fare options at a Citrus Connection facility or onboard a fixed-route bus. Onboard purchases are cash only, so plan before you board.

Know before you go:

➡️ When a school bus displays its stop signal, drivers traveling in the same direction must always stop.
➡️ On a two-way road, traffic in both directions must stop.
➡️ Opposing traffic may continue only when the roadway is divided by a raised barrier or an unpaved median at least five feet wide. Stay stopped until the signal is withdrawn.

🇺🇸 The Veterans Universal Access Program makes it easier for Polk County veterans to get where they need to go.

Simply show a valid Veterans ID or DD214 to the bus operator to ride all Citrus Connection fixed routes at no cost.
