Captain Meyer holds a USCG 100 ton Masters license with towing endorsement. Captain Meyer spent the majority of his 21 year career in the USCG involved i

n small boat search and rescue and recovery. Meyer retired in May of 1986 as the Engineering Officer of a 140 foot Ice Breaking Tug on Lake Superior. Meyer is a Vietnam Combat Veteran serving with USCG Squadron One in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970. LAKE TOW LLC is the only Commercial Assistance Company in the area which holds the ACAPT Certification. The ACAPT distinction, developed and monitored by C-PORT, recognizes the professional who is willing to adhere to high standards of service, training, and equipment.
