🌟 Team Member Spotlight: Rachael Hunter! 🌟

This month, we’re proud to spotlight Rachael Hunter, a Class A CDL Driver from Lynn, AL!

Rachael shared that one of her greatest accomplishments at Clayton Connect has been becoming a better and more confident driver. She takes pride in everything she has learned and how much she has grown since starting.

When asked what she enjoys most about being a driver, Rachael said it’s the independence of being on the road and knowing that the work she does has a purpose. Every day, she’s helping deliver someone’s home — and that makes the job pretty special.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on projects around her house, relaxing by the pool, and reading a good book. 📚

One thing Rachael wants her coworkers and the Clayton Connect community to know is that she works hard and genuinely tries to treat everyone with kindness and respect. She believes you don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to make an impact — sometimes it’s simply about showing up, doing your best, helping when you can, and leaving people with a good impression.

💙💚 Why I Chose Connect: Meet Shannon Johnson! 💚💙

This November, Shannon will celebrate 5 years with Connect as a Class A CDL Driver in Addison, AL! 🚛

For Shannon, it’s all about finding the right balance — good home time, good pay, great benefits, and great people. One of the things he enjoys most is helping train new employees and sharing his experience with his coworkers.

Shannon is especially proud to be the most senior DSC at the Alabama location and to have the opportunity to help welcome and train new team members.

🌟 July Driver Spotlight: Jordan Collins 🌟

This week, we’re recognizing Jordan for the positive impact he continues to make across our Nashville, NC team!

Jordan considers one of his greatest accomplishments becoming the Success Coach for the Nashville/Oxford market. In this role, he’s built strong relationships while serving as a trusted resource for our pilots and toters, helping them navigate routes, deliveries, and the day-to-day challenges that come with the job.

Earlier this year, Jordan stepped into the Driver Success Coach role after previously serving as a driver trainer, where he mentored countless new drivers. His passion for helping others has played a part in nearly every driver’s journey at Nashville.

When asked what he enjoys most about driving, Jordan shared that every delivery brings a new challenge and an opportunity to learn something new. As a trainer, his favorite part is watching new drivers grow to love the job as much as he does.

Jordan’s willingness to help others never goes unnoticed. Whether he’s mentoring a new teammate or stopping to assist a fellow driver on the road—even when they’re not on the same run—he consistently demonstrates what it means to be a supportive teammate.

Outside of work, Jordan is a devoted husband and father who enjoys spending quality time with his family and creating lasting memories together.

His advice to new drivers:
“Take each house slowly and with care, like it’s your own home you’re pulling behind you.”
