Here’s a little Disney Cruise 🚢 hack for meeting characters during your sailing! Character lines are definitely shorter than they traditionally can be at the parks, but sometimes waiting in line is annoying! Going during a show lets you meet characters when there are significantly less waiting with you!

Pirate night 🏴‍☠️

Our last couple cruises we’ve gone all out for pirate night and had a blast! On our latest sailing on the Destiny we stopped at Cask and Canon for a pirate drink before the rest of our evening on the high seas. We also got to meet Maleficent in our pirate garb which was extra special.

Birthdays at Sea 🚢🐭✨🎈🎂🎉

For the last two years we’ve celebrated Erik’s birthday on a Disney cruise! It is truly such a magical and memorable experience and there are a couple of extra little things that make it even more special! If you’re celebrating a birthday on board, your stateroom host will deliver you a certificate that has a special birthday pin! Like at the parks you can also get special “I’m celebrating” pins for the rest of your family!

For Erik’s 18th birthday on the Treasure we ordered one of the in room cakes to be delivered on embarkation day. Through some hiccup, we actually didn’t end up receiving it until a few days later on the sailing, but it was still a tasty cake! This was definitely a fun extra to make the trio feel even more special!

This year and last year we had dinner at Palo for Erik’s birthday and they brought out this plate with Happy Birthday on it! Our next visit to the main dining room, our servers brought out a piece of cake at the end of dinner and sang happy birthday!

Have you ever been at sea for a birthday before? It’s so much fun and we’re already planning for the next one!

Another little stateroom tour from our Celebrity Reflection 🪩 cruise! We really enjoyed this stateroom but probably wouldn’t book the concierge’s level again. Some of the perks were nice but overall we felt like it probably wasn’t worth it for us for the next time we sail Celebrity!
