Your first runDisney race starts WAY before you cross the starting line 😂✨

So what happens between getting off the bus and actually running?

Security, gear check, character photo lines, bathroom stops, pre-race entertainment… and eventually making your way to your corral! 🏃‍♀️🏰

My biggest tip: give yourself time for the things you want to do—and remember that character photos can come with a wait. That early arrival makes a lot more sense once you see everything happening before the race!

Your first runDisney race? Let’s talk about the REAL toilets. 🚽✨

There are porta-potties in the pre-race area, but when your course takes you through the Disney parks, you can use the open park restrooms. Flushing toilets. Running water. A little race-morning luxury. 😂🙌

Signed up for the Army Ten-Miler. Apparently the swimming portion was included. 😂☔️

Ten rainy miles through DC, a little sparkle still hanging on, and a medal worth showing off. 🏅❤️💙

This Disney runner occasionally runs without a castle at the finish line—and I’m proud of today’s miles. Slow pace crew, we did it! 🙌

Your first Disney World trip doesn’t need to be a park-hopping endurance event. 😂🏰

After years of Disney trips, these are four tips I keep coming back to:

✨ Consider one park per day before paying extra for Park Hopper.
📱 Use mobile order where available.
🎢 Arrive early with a plan for your must-do rides.
😴 Schedule a resort day—sleeping in and pool time count as vacation, too!

My biggest tip? Give yourself time to actually enjoy the trip you paid for. 💖

Two weeks until W**e & Dine! Is your race outfit ready… and have you actually RUN in it? 👀😂

I’m sitting this one out, but here’s what I’d be sorting out now:

✨ TEST THE WHOLE OUTFIT
Socks, accessories, and anything that could bounce, rub, or become deeply annoying by mile two.

Breakfast before the bus. Second breakfast in the corral. Fuel for the miles. Pack what you’ve already tried and liked!

🏰 PLAN BEYOND THE FINISH LINE
Make room for the expo, check race transportation details, and figure out park plans—with actual time to sleep. A late park night hits differently when your alarm starts with a 2. 😅

💛 EXPECT SOME NERVES
You can be excited, nervous, and proud of yourself all at once. You don’t have to feel completely confident to belong at that starting line.
