The Royal Gathering is a complimentary princess meet-and-greet on Disney Cruise Line that allows guests to meet a few princesses in one location at one time.

Reservations open for all guests 30 days before sailing at midnight Eastern and can disappear quickly.

If you miss out, do not panic. The Royal Gathering is a convenient option, but there will be additional opportunities to meet princesses and other favorite characters throughout your cruise. 👑

Disney Wish day 4- Day at sea

Let’s talk about Disney Cruise Line’s updated door decoration policy:

The photo below is our stateroom door from this week, and decorations like this are still completely allowed!

The biggest upcoming change- that goes into effect across the fleet June 3rd- is that all decorations must stay on your stateroom door and/or fish extender and cannot extend onto nearby walls, ceilings, or other areas.
Anything attached to the door must be a magnet. Tape, adhesives, command strips, and over-the-door hangers are not permitted.

Disney has also stated that a $100 fee may be charged for any damage caused by decorations.

Bottom line: door decorating is not going away. Just keep it magnetic and keep it contained to your stateroom door and fish extender!
