I started Day 5 of my most recent WDW trip by sleeping in, and enjoying a press pot of coffee from Kona Island and some breakfast. I went straight to the Lava Pool when it opened to get a nice shady seat and to ride the water slide!

After lots of lounging in the pool, a delicious Voyager, and some lunch from Captain Cook’s, the pool was getting a little crowded, so I went back to my room to get ready for my afternoon!

I went to Disney Springs to try Summer House on the Lake’s happy hour. It was AMAZING! I loved my espresso martini, and the cheeseburger and pizza were super delicious. I picked up a couple cookies on my way out.

I spent the rest of my afternoon wandering through my favorite spots in Disney Springs. Once I got back to the Polynesian I sat and relaxed on my patio before going to watch the Electrical Water Pageant and Happily Ever After!

Stay tuned for Day 6!

I spent Day 4 of my most recent WDW trip at Epcot! I arrived for early entry and went straight to Guardians of Galaxy! Then I rode Soarin’ Across America and Living with the Land before enjoying a breakfast sandwich with fresh fruit from Sunshine Seasons.

After breakfast I rode Journey into Imagination to visit Figment before starting to make my way through World Showcase. I stopped in some shops, enjoyed a couple festival snacks, and grabbed an orange slushy in France before heading over the Boardwalk.

I enjoyed a sandwich for lunch from the Boardwalk Deli and I visited the Cake Bake Shop for the first time! The inside was adorable and the Millionaire’s cake AMAZING!

I spent the afternoon checking into my next resort: The Polynesian! I grabbed my first voyager before unpacking and settling into my room.

I went back to Epcot in the evening and rode The Seas with Nemo and friends. I enjoyed the aquarium afterwards before mobile ordering my dinner from Regal Eagle! The brisket sandwich is one of my favorite quick service meals on property!

I saw some of the fireworks show was I headed over to Frozen Ever After to start my time in the park for Extended Evening Hours! After riding Frozen I also got on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy!

Stay tuned for Day 5!

I spent Day 3 of my most recent WDW trip at Animal Kingdom! I arrived for Early Entry and went straight for Expedition Everest, then it was time to visit all the animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris!

Afterwards I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich from Kusafiri, before enjoying both the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail and the Maharajah Jungle Trek! I saw lots of animals moving about, including one of the tigers!

I spent some time in the shops before grabbing one of the viral brownie cookie dough ice cream sandwiches, which was awesome! It melted too fast to get a picture, but this is a must-get item for anyone who loves cookie dough!

After my sweet treat I decided to head to the Disney Character Warehouse at the Vineland Premium Outlets. I made a couple purchases before taking a Lyft back to Disney Springs to enjoy a late lunch at Homecomin’.

I took a bus back to my resort and enjoyed some time on my balcony and packed a little bit. The. I grabbed a late dinner at Gasparilla Island Grill to enjoy on my balcony while watching the Electrical Water Pageant.

I also managed to stay up to watch Happily Ever After, and I have to say I think the Grand Floridian might be my new favorite viewing spot!

Stay tuned for Day 4 tomorrow!

I woke up just in time for Early Entry at Magic Kingdom on Day 2 of my most recent WDW trip! Once inside the park I headed straight for Fantasyland where I rode Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan before park opening!

Then it was time for a nearly empty ride on Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Cruise. Afterwards, I stopped for a Nutella fruit waffle at Sleepy Hollow, and I’m happy to report that the waffle wasn’t soggy, the Nutella wasn’t overbearing, and the fresh fruit was pleasant!

Then I went to Tomorrowland to ride the updated Buzz Lightyear, and I have to say this ride so much fun now! The updated blasters and targets really make the game easier to play, and your car even displays your level along with your score throughout your ride!

Next up was a ride on the PeopleMover and some shopping before leaving the park. I went back to the Grand Floridian to enjoy some lunch at Gasparilla Island Grill. The sandwich and create-your-own salad (this specifically is a hidden gem) I got were both amazing!

I spent the rest of my afternoon relaxing at the pool before getting ready for a pre-dinner drink at the Enchanted Rose Lounge. This lounge was quite large, and beautifully themed! I wasn’t able to try any snacks, but they all looked amazing, and I can’t wait to visit again to try some.

I enjoyed dinner at Narcoosse’s and I am already dreaming about going back! The calamari was super tender and crispy, and the sauce in my pasta was amazing!

After dinner, I went back to Magic Kingdom to get some ice cream to end my night! I wasn’t able to see the fireworks or the Electrical Water Pageant because it POURED all night long!

Stay tuned for Day 3!

Curious how a travel agent and WDW Passholder spends their vacation? Follow along to see recaps of each day of my most recent trip!

I took an early morning flight to Orlando, and used a Lyft to get to the first hotel of my trip: The Grand Floridian! After storing my bags with Bell Services, I hopped on the monorail and headed straight to Epcot.

I started my morning by picking up my new Passholder magnet and doing some shopping in Creations. Then it was time to sample several items from the Flower and Garden Festival booths! My favorites were the Tanghulu, the orange tempura shrimp, and the blackened fish slider!

I enjoyed a lap around World Showcase, with a stop on the Grand Fiesta Tour, a treat from Karamell-Küche, and an orange slush from France. I quickly rode the updated version of Soarin’, Soarin’ Across America, before heading to Hollywood Studios.

I secured a boarding group for the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets! The ride was so much fun, and it has TONS of Easter eggs throughout the queue, pre show, and load/unload areas. After my ride, I stopped to purchase a new popcorn bucket before heading back to my resort and finding my room!

I’ll be honest, I was worried the Grand Floridian would feel too stuffy for me, but the room was beautiful! My building location was amazing too; a quick walk to the pools, the main lobby and dining, and the boat launch. I could even see Seven 7 Seas Lagoon from my balcony!

After some light unpacking I decided to have dinner at Citricos. I loved their seasonal salad, which featured strawberries, goat cheese, and a bacon vinaigrette! To end the night I enjoyed a pastry from Gasparilla Island Grill, and I watched the Electrical Water Pageant.

Stay tuned to hear about Day 2 of my most recent trip!

Overwhelmed by all the tasty snacks at Epcot? Here's 5 you have to try on your next visit!

1. The barbacoa empanadas are my favorite snack in the entire park! They filled with barbacoa beef, topped with chipotle sauce, Crema Mexicana, and queso. Their sold at Choza de Margarita in the Mexico pavilion, and they shouldn't be skipped!

2. L'Artisan des Glaces is located in the France pavilion and it serves up some delicious ice cream treats. The Café Glacé is my favorite, featuring a scoop of ice cream in an iced cappuccino, with your choice of sundae topping and whipped cream. It's the perfect afternoon pick-me-up!

3. The France pavilion also features a delicious lineup of pastries over at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. From croissants, tarts, beignets, baguettes, and sandwiches, everyone in your travel party will find something delicious here!

4. The brisket sandwich is located at Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the America pavilion. It features house-smoked beef brisket on garlic toast, and it's some of the best barbecue on Disney property. Make sure to order the crispy, salty onion rings on the side to complete your meal!

5. The festival snacks! Epcot typically runs 4 festivals a year, which means that most of the time, their are additional tasty snacks in the park! The festivals feature a wide variety of international snacks, all fitting that festival's theme. From delicious holiday cookies to mini meals of carne asada and sushi, there's something for everyone at the Epcot festivals!

Ready to try one or all of these treats? Let's start planning your next Epcot visit today!

What's better than a day in one of the Disney World theme parks? While it might surprise you, a day at your Disney Resort pool can be one of the best parts of your vacation!

Disney Resorts offer multiple pools for your family to enjoy! Each hotel has a main feature pool, a splash pad or kid's pool, and quiet pools spread throughout the resort. Main pools at moderate and deluxe resorts also feature at least one waterslide! Pools are also designed to match the theme of their respective resort (like the giant pyramid waterfall featured at Coronado Springs or the Coney Island style theme at the Boardwalk).

Cast members also host activities at the main pools every afternoon. These activities can range from Disney trivia, dance parties, scavenger hunts, chalk art, and much more! The great part is these activities (with a few noted exceptions) are included in your resort stay!
