Hey friends! I haven’t done this in a while, and I’ve noticed some new faces here—so I figured it was time for a reintroduction 🤍

I’m Jill—a wife, mom, and Midwesterner now living in the South. I’m also a former marketing & communications professional turned travel agent, specializing in Disney destinations. I love what I do because it truly blends my passion for Disney and travel with my education and professional background!

I have two girls, ages 2 and 6, who keep me busy with everything from dance and gymnastics to swim and volleyball.

I met my husband in Charleston, SC, on a bachelorette trip I almost didn’t go on (moral of the story: always take the trip!!).

I used to love summer and dread winter—but now that I live in the South, it’s completely flipped. 😆

I went to Miami University (the one in Ohio, not Florida!). Fun fact: Miami University was established before Florida even became a state!

Did you know Walt Disney World pools are open year round? This is us swimming in January when it was only 40 degrees outside. Notice the lifeguards wearing winter jackets one no else in the pool. 🤣

Here are my best tips for swimming in the winter!

❄️ Mid-afternoon is often the best time to swim as the sun is at its highest, reducing the chill when exiting the water. (Though it was not sunny this day. 😆)

❄️ Bring extra towels, sweats or a robe for walking back to your room.

❄️If you are staying at a Moderate of Deluxe resort, look for a hot tub for extra warmth.

Happy National Pizza Day! Sometimes people hate on the value resorts for their lack of dining options. But one of my favorite parts of the Everything POP Food Court are their large pizzas! We got one twice on our last trip. (And we were only there for 4 days 🙈.) Follow it up with a slice of their famous tie-dye cheesecake and you are in for a real treat! 🍕🌈

Not the Cindy we were expecting…

😂 but don’t worry, the ending transformation was so beautiful and magical! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is one of my favorite Enchanting Extras to book. Littles ages 3-12 can become princesses or knights for the day (or for the week if you are like my daughter 😆). But it can be one of the hardest things to book. You have to know when and how (small hint- it’s not the same time as dining!) So it’s best to have a Disney travel professional in your corner. 🤝 Always here to help if you need me!
