The owner of my travel agency sent me to this training at because I was a skeptic. I had a great time at Disney when my family went in 2020. But had no desire to go again. The heat, the crowds, the lines, the noise, and the cost… it wasn’t worth it to me. She thought it would be fun to send me with another Leslie - one who LOVES all things Disney. The Leslies at Disney. One with a frown, one with a smile. I was happy to oblige - I mean, who doesn’t want a little vacay with one of their closest friends?
Well, she knew what she was doing. The past 4 days were… dare I say it… MAGICAL. 🪄
I get it now. And I don’t know why. I don’t know what it was that made the light come on, but it’s on. It could’ve been the training we did that really highlighted the thought and detail put into every single thing the brand represents. It could’ve been the pride that every cast member exuded. It could’ve been the fireworks. It could’ve been that I was with other adults and was able to really stand back and watch the faces of the children as they played in the water with Moana or the squeals when they saw their favorite character. Might’ve been the firework shows. The food. The animals.
All I know is that I own my very own set of ears, get goosebumps looking through my photos, and am ready to change other skeptic minds.
Let’s go to DISNEY!!!

Two Leslies, one unforgettable reunion!
After too long apart, we’re finally together in Orlando—where one Leslie is living for the thrill rides and roller coasters, and the other is soaking up poolside cocktails and sunshine. Different vibes, same heart. Because no matter where we are, or what we’re doing, we just love each other more.

Obsessed with this hotel. overlooking the brand new Epic Universe!
Tips and tricks:
* Park View Room! EPIC is beautiful 24/7 and you’ll want to watch the fountain shows from your room
* Make reservations if you want to eat on site. There’s a restaurant downstairs and a really cool bar upstairs but they book up FAST (stay tuned for my review of the downstairs bar menu)
* You can actually access Epic Universe directly from the hotel! You have to be a guest of the hotel though.
* The other Universal parks are at other locations but if you stay here, they have complimentary transportation to the other Universal parks!
* Less than 30 min to WDW
